That must just be a result of who we’ve played. With Aina out, none of our players have a long throw. Neco tries but they are just looped to the midpoint between the penalty area and six yard box.

Facebook tells me that nine years ago I was at Oakwell watching Angela score a hat-trick in a 5-2 win. (evidenced by a picture i took from the away end)

Received a Forest thermos mug as part of my Pro membership in the post today. Much better than the children-size socks I got last year.

I never realised until today that Des Walker's only goal (in the right end!) came with Steve Sutton in goal for the opposition, and worse, he was on loan to them from us. Highly suspicious.

It did. I was 11 years old and stood on an upturned beer crate behind that goal. Fortunately my dad, who's always been a bugger for leaving games early to 'beat the traffic', had broken the habit of a lifetime and stayed to the end.
Walker had done a Forest podcast I listened to the other day and revealed he injured himself during the celebrations when all his teammates were jumping on him. Thankfully it was late on so he was able to hobble through the final few minutes.
