I dont know if I am just stupid, or the article is badly written, but I cant make head nor tail or that. Dave, are you reading that as the agent threated the player in order to get him to move, or threatened the player in order to stop him moving? Or maybe its neither of those and it was some other 'thing' that was going on? Very confusing

Whilst I'm obviously not seriously suggesting this was MGW (although you never know) you make a good point - there is no indication whether this was about a transfer (requested or declined) or a desire to change agent (I think I'd want to change agent if they had a gun) or something else.
When I used to play FM if I ever got 'player x has approached to you to say their agent wants to open talks about a new contract' I would always pick the reply that went along the lines of 'I think you should change your agent as I don't think they are doing right by you'. It was always ridiculously satisfying if the player agreed and changed.
I don't know if FM26 - out today I believe - has incorporated anything like 'player's moral is low after being threatened at gunpoint by agent'.
Maybe next season.
