    Oh that's very good.

Aside, I occasionally listen to The Price of Football and I don't know if it's just coincidence, as I've only listened to a few episodes in the last 6 months, but the resident Palace guy doesn't half hate us and Marinakis. I'd have thought being as he's on a kind of finance related podcast he'd be a bit more reasonable /fact based and engage his brain more than the average neanderthal. Seems not.

There are people here who hate a football club because they made a bid, that they didn't like, for a player of ours. I'm only saying.

I've only listened very rarely but isn't he there to be the voice of the common man?

It looks like the novelty of us being good is wearing off and combined with expensive tickets games are certainly selling out much slower.

Hardly a clamour for our first European night in years with a few thousand tickets left despite being on sale to ‘core’ members ( think they are are £10 ones).

And Chelsea has reached ‘plus’ with loads left. That wasn’t happening last season.

Yup. I’m at the point where I can’t even be arsed to go if I get offered a freebie.

It's the number of games, increased cost, and that all the games are on TV - rather than lack of excitement or being blaise. I'm in effect skipping the Chelsea and MidgetLand games so that I can go to Betis and the Porto games. I imagine many are similar.

I've always thought the arrogant attitude towards selling tickets would come back to bite them.

Assumed it would be post a relegation or two rather than now.

It’s definitely the increased match day prices having a big impact.

I could take my son to the Chelsea game but for us to sit in the family section it’s £85. I could afford it but think it’s a piss take so will save myself the 2 hr round trip, the stupid price and head to non league.

Today is the four year anniversary of Chris Hughton's sacking. Coops came in and the rest is history. Except that so much has happened it seems like 10 years ago.

Fucking hell. I was scrapping around the internet looking for any coverage of Forest games as Forest TV always told you the result if you wanted to watch the replay and also I think the commentary wasn't exactly synched up.

Now I can watch pretty much any Forest game and we are in Europe. My head is spinning and I wish I was going to Valencia to see us play Real Betis..

    WHERE HAS MY LIFE GONE!!!!!!!!

    Anyway....

If you're going to go to the effort of going all the way to Spain then you might as well go the extra 400 miles to Seville, where Betis actually play.

Good job you're not going to Valencia as you would still have to watch on TV as the game is in Sevilla.

Sorry I meant Seville. I am running around like a headless chicken as per normal. I haven't been there but have heard that Seville is the loveliest city in Spain.

    Chicago: Ticketless.

There is a theory that the Betis tickets are easy to get because you have to show your passport and collect your tickets in Seville, and the away members are suddenly not so interested because they can't resell them for a profit as they do with domestic matches.
