Why don't we just sack Edu? Sorted

  • 22 Aug 2025, 6:36 p.m.

If you want out, how does that help?

  • 22 Aug 2025, 6:39 p.m.

Yes. I was surprised at that. Danny has always been anti Marinakis.

  • 22 Aug 2025, 6:51 p.m.

I don't think that's true to be honest. I've been surprised how prepared he has been to be briefed at times in the past.

That said what he has reported on this makes sense. Playing with super agents draws fire. It's modern football. We get what we're given.

I stated that I thought the Hutchinson transfer seemed like a Edu/Kia Move and even questioned why we paid that much for someone who really didn't pull up trees for Ipswich in the Prem.

Both Luiz and Hutchinson is Kia. Whilst they might end up being ace for Forest, Nuno seemed almightily peed off about something and I suspect it wasn't being read in to the strategy. Or, maybe Nuno said, "what's the strategy and was told "none of your business", other than Kia gets oodles and you get stuck with a player.

This happened with EDU at Arsenal and Arteta basically said, either you get rid of working with Kia or I leave. EDU did his best work for Arsenal when Joorabchian had sodded off. Now it seems like he is reverting to form.

None of this I will ever prove (unless it comes out at a latter date), but it certainly happened at Arsenal. Arteta wielded more power than the Brazilian and got him in line by all accounts which is pretty remakable considering that EDU was technically his boss.

Will Nuno ignore the Kia signings this weekend? I wouldn't be surprised.

Glasner or Marco Silva for me. Ange is a player's manager but he doesn't seem to do tactics which I believe is quite important and even more importantly where does that leave CHO who i think really loves Nuno.

    Fucking football and those egos.

EM is an ego maniac so i am guessing Nuno knows that this will get him the sack. Cannot see this going well. Shame. i liked his soft spoken smiley face.

    Ah Balls.

Despite evidence to the contrary I still can't shake the belief that Glasner is a crap manager.

  • 22 Aug 2025, 7:14 p.m.

Nuno is being a cock and needs to grow the fuck up.

  • 22 Aug 2025, 7:23 p.m.

Quite possibly but Ben Jacob’s just posted that Edu blocked a move for Traore when positive talks had taken place. Who wouldn’t be cross about not having baby oil chaos monkey at the club. I would be.

I would rather have Adama than Hutchinson but then again I am not in charge so whoop de doo.

Just when you think Forest have got bizarre enough for the day, Josh Bowler has scored for the academy against Arsenal.

  • 22 Aug 2025, 7:27 p.m.

    Twice.

  • 22 Aug 2025, 7:46 p.m.

I like Hutchinson more than Chic does, but I also think Traoré is more what we need right now.

I think maybe I trust Nuno more than Edu, but it's only EM's opinions that matter.

I would rather have a good manager than a good DOF. If you're going to appoint a new DOF wouldn't it make sense to make sure your highly successful manager would be happy to work with them? If Edu doesn't listen to what the manager is saying how successful are we going to be at appointing anything other than a 'yes man' manager which doesn't tend to come with 'highly achieving manager'?

  • 22 Aug 2025, 9:15 p.m.

Anyone but Ange for me. As much as I love Milenkovic, the thought of him running back from the half way line would terrify me.

This seems to need a swift resolution either way.

  • 22 Aug 2025, 10:01 p.m.

On the other hand, if the reason the manager has fallen out with the DoF is because they are represented by different agents, then he needs to grow the fuck up & remind himself that he works for Nottingham Forest not Jorge Mendes

  • 22 Aug 2025, 10:10 p.m.

Why not the other fella grow the fuck up and give the successful manager the tools he feels he needs to be more successful?

There are a lot of moving parts at play here, in this modern game that is related to what we think of as football. They are not better understood by projecting Neanderthal notions of posturing polarisation on them.
