Such a likeable human being. Hope he does well at wherever he lands next.
Matt Turner’s will be interesting.
Looks like Toff is Matt Davies's latest podcast guest, which I suspect is worth a listen.
He seems like a very nice fella, but I don't think I've ever seen a club make such a fuss over a backup player leaving at the end of his only contract with the club.
its the middle of June and they are looking for some content.. haven’t watched it, doubt I will, in a similar vein to the games being played in the US this week etc, no interest.
It’s carried on this morning on social media, but that should be that. It’s all very OTT but also nice at the same time.
I do remember the double swoopage with O’Brien was held up with Toffolo not happy with something. But good it kind of worked out in the end.
Notwithstanding the quiet season for socialz content, I think with Toffolo this was probably a nod to his community work around mental health support in the city, and the fact he went through some difficulties himself in that regard over the duration of his contract.
Looks like a win-win, where Forest make a fuss of Toff and he gets a platform to thank the club and the supporters. I don't have an issue with it but understand it's not for everyone.
Usual leaked fixtures doing the rounds - Forest reportedly opening v Villa on the Sunday at 2pm, but then facing bindippers, united, citeh and spudz in next 4-5 games.
Been rejected though due to a number of errors - including Forest playing both Everton and bindippers on December 30, and WetSham facing Championship side foxshaggers on the final day.
Just watched the highlights of the Yeovil game. I forgot that we actually equalised in extra time through Gary Holt. A pretty amazing game to look back on. Did Yeovil lose at Wembley?
I remember the little left back could barely run near the end and thinking we'd be better off playing with ten men than him on the pitch.
We did have 10 men what with Prutton getting sent off.
God yes I forgot (and it wasn't in the highlights oddly). Even 9 would have been better than - because he was nominally 'playing' but actually couldn't so he was getting rinsed.
Alan Wright wasn't it? Scored an own goal then Harry Kaned it to the max.
The OG was terribly unlucky. I don't think it's unreasonable to say that if it hadn't hit his face and gone in we'd have won that game.
Part of the skill in football is having your face in the right place. Not near the attackers knees.
