Marinakis apparently fuming at drop off in form, despite the "you didn't see what you saw" moment.

How do you know this? Has he specifically used the terms “fucked it” or “bottled it?”

What I saw post-Leicester was Marinakis stomping past Nuno before Nuno said something that made him turn around and moan at him instead. I’m guessing he was heading for the referee/linesman.

In the latest training ground video they asked all the players going into the building who their player of the season would be, and Matz Sels won pretty decisively.

They could name any of half a dozen players and no-one should complain, but it being football, people would still complain.
Sels, Milenkovic, MGW, Wood, Aina, Murillo. And I feel bad skipping Neco, Elanga and CHO.

Tough crowd. I think there are quite a few additions we need ahead of a new Number 1.

There's a lot of mad shit posted on here over the years, but this is up there with the best!

If we develop into a team with more possession, a higher line, and playing out from the back, it's not that mad.

Lots of “if’s” in there. And it would be quite an evolution

There's 6 or 7 quality players we need to build a squad before you start spending 20m+ on a keeper surely?

I think we need at least a number two who could be a number one. Especially with extra games.

How anyone looks beyond Milenkovic for player of the season I don’t understand.. we’re a team based on not conceding goals, no one has made more of a difference in that regard.

Milenkovic would be my first choice, but an inability to see the reasons for anyone else is obtuse.
We are a team based on efficiency of goalscoring and Wood is the only player at the required level
We are a team based on speed of transition and Murillo's distribution from the back is irreplaceable
    As examples.

You don't do that as one player. The centre-halves, the full backs, and the goalkeeper, have all had outstanding seasons.

As a group, defending on the ground, in the air, defending the corner, the far post, running the line, long into the channels and on the angle, attacking and defending set pieces. All of the defensive unit have made consistently significant contributions as a collective to all of these.

This is true but four of the five were in place for the second half of last season. And they were nothing like as good then.
