Heard a nice Nuno story the other day. One of my lads lives in the same apartment complex as Nuno and can sometimes hear him playing what sounds like a piano on his balcony. My son, let’s call him Jack, has seen Nuno a few times but not engaged for fear of being thought a stalker or worse. A while ago, Jack saw Nuno parking his car and, fortified by a couple of post match pints, thanked him for his work at Forest. He mentioned the piano, which turns out to be a hand pan or something like that. Anyway, Nuno got his phone out and showed Jack some videos of him playing, which I thought was nice. True story.

He gives every impression of being a genuinely nice bloke. That Warriors FC piece just before Christmas was fabulous; yes, it was put out as club PR, but you cannot fake that kind of empathy stuff with Downs kids, & both they & Nuno seemed to be having a total blast.
Wolves fans say much the same about him. It’s only the hyper-entitled arseholes of North London who swim against the tide (but what do you expect?)
