Did Brazil want to stay, or has he chosen to let his contract run out so he can go do something new?

I think it’s reasonable to say the recruitment was a mixed bag.

Based on T’Athletic article he wanted to stay

So it would seem. It’s an odd one because, though it has only become official today, it’s been completely obvious for many weeks that GazBraz’s contract wasn’t going to be renewed. Not at all obvious why… but equally it need not necessarily be “the end of the Academy” (as some of our more hysterical fans are saying), any more than it was when Paul Hart or Nick Marshall moved on.

Sadly, I think the truth of the matter is that being owned by a Marinakis figure means that a level of continual backstage chaos is unavoidable. We should enjoy the fun that Steve Cooper has given us - to be fair with Marinakis support, even if the odd wobble; sooner or later the chaos will outweigh the SSC factor. There is absolutely nothing we can do about that as fans. That’s modern fitba for you; about half the clubs in the ‘Ship hate their owners and/or Board; eventually that will probably be us, too.

Yep, basically that. It's obviously not the end of the academy, ultimately no one is bigger than the club and all that, but it is more shitty shenanigans from the ownership. Cooper is now the last man standing when it comes to the good stuff, hopefully for a little while longer.

Keep cheering the laundry kids. Don't think, while all your stuff is sold off to large business interests, commercialised, taken out of your control, your community monetised, and leveraged against you.

    It's what you voted for.

Really good. I understand the way the world works, and I'm not living in denial.

    How you doin'?

I think Terry the Kitman and his action packed all weather shorts and tee ensemble left a while ago.

I reckon Wolves will be in there. Fester in H with Burton, Donny and Stags.
My money is on us in F, with Bradford, Barnsleh and Grimsby.

It is weird not seeing us in the list of balls for the Caribou Cup R1 though.

This alleges to have a list of the forest players wages. A bit unseemly to discuss peoples income. But some proper splutter in your tea stuff, if accurate.

No wonder MGW was so keen to sign.
And there is no chance of ever seeing the back of Shelvey or Wood.

Taken from here, which confidently lists the salaries and says

So basically they've taken a guess and cross referenced it with whatever football management video game they're playing this week. I'd not give it much credence.

How will Leicester be in it? I thought you had to finish top 16.

Why don't they draw the U21 clubs at the same time as the other teams?

Is it just to give the proper clubs ample time to reflect on how humiliating it is for them to have our kids join them in the competition?
