    The podcast that it links to is a bit of a sad listen (I didn’t manage the full 2.5 hours). No introspection, no sense that he’d do anything differently but he’s apparently desperate to get back into management (Fawaz’s payoff must have run out).

    Choice quote: “When I leave clubs, certain things happen. People can do their own research”. Must be those dark forces again.

    Con: he appears to have spent a lot of his career deeply enmeshed with the gambling industry

    Fair analysis. If we're gonna appoint a massive thundercunt to the board, at least he appears to be connected.

    Could this be to do with avoiding a possible conflict of interest, if his firm gets a big contract to sort out the CG?
