Our two both played tunes. Well worth 850 bastard quid.

It's not like you to be pessimistic
I only said to someone the other day was feeling quite positive about this season. But that was before the season-card-box-MoK-gate.
We've turned down a bid of 20m from Atalanta for Neco apparently.
And one of the Milans want a bit of Danilo (for about 25m, euro, I assume).
Neither seem like enough profit to be selling first 11 players.
Pretty confident we will be seeing better from them both this season too.
Read we want £30m for neco
Looking through the fan previews in the guardian: www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/aug/11/premier-league-2023-24-fan-previews-part-one-arsenal-to-fulham
Interesting that while most Forest fans are feeling pretty relaxed about next season's prospects, 8 of the respondents have us going down (Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton, Fulham, Ipswich, Leicester, Liverpool & ManU). Although there may be some personal beef in a few of those.
And 40m plus for Danilo
Season is back on. Daughter just opened her season card box again and it's played!
Mrs Charlie had a fiddle with hers and it started working, although it sounded like the chipmunks singing. Or maybe the smurfs. Mine remained stubbornly silent.
Mine worked immediately but stopped after I took the ST card off.
The Everton guy spends a couple of paragraphs saying it’s going to be a bloody hard season for them … & then says they’ll finish tenth…
And what the fuck would yer average Ipswich webmong know about it?
Pre-season predictions are invariably bollocks. Those by fans trebly so.
Can't be arsed to read them but did any of them contain the magic words 'you heard it here first'?
Is this still the MoK box, or filth?
Of course there will be some people who get it right. Purely by dint of bell-end distribution of meaningless guesses.
There are some things to bear in mind when 'predicting'. Nobody has complete knowledge of all the factors involved, and even if they did, at a point in time, things would subsequently change unpredictably. They actually play the games, and sport is compelling, because of this inherent unpredictability.
Of course the deck is increasingly loaded, to shift the peak position of the curve for different teams, and narrow it's width. If you predict every league placing, you are not a genius, but just an inevitable statistical outcome.
You have suttoned.
