We scored some really good goals this season...
We did, didn’t we? Some of the through balls are things of beauty; Elanga’s while being clattered for Woody’s 2nd goal at St James’ Park, Domínguez’s for Taiwo to score vs Wet Sham, MGW’s pirouette to set up CHO…
Thank God they haven’t produced an equivalent compilation for the goals we conceded!

Forest charged by FA again - for failing to control the crowd against the bindippers.
Meh. Fuck em.
Is the charge for Marinakis going on the pitch? Otherwise, it was just a bit of booing, wasn't it?
There was a bit of a kerfuffle behind the away dugout. Meatheads banging on the dugout, trying to get at the bindippers staff, a couple of whom were standing their ground on the wind-up. Not much more than that I didn’t think, but the fourth official probably thought it was worse.
Forest appoint George Syrianos as "global technical director" (whatever that means), according to Daniel Taylor in the Athletic. 'Oversight of the development of Forest & Olympiacos & Rio Ave'Pedro Fereira, the guy we have just nicked from Benfica, officially started work this week.
The question is, do they have a veto over Miltiades' last minute vanity signings? If so, happy days and the semblance of a structure; if not...
I don't agree with multi club ownership and I'm not a big fan of shared structures across multiple countries and cultures, but I do think George Syrianos is a decent person to be heading recruitment, assuming we don't sack him again. It's not a role that is known for it's long tenure, although neither are any others to be fair.
Multi-club ownership is contrary to sporting integrity, and a blight on the game. But it's just business....nothing personal.
Maybe I'm kidding myself but I don't really have a problem with shared ownership like ours as long as there are regulations preventing abuses like Watford/Udinese used to. So transfers between Forest and Olympiacos should be scrutinised but I think mostly it's been one club seeing if their rejects can do something in the other's league.
There seems to be a signficant difference with various previously independent clubs getting rebranded, like the mini Man Cities or Red Bulls or being used explicitly as feeders, like Antwerp with Man U or Chelsea with Vitesse.
That's a very fair summation. He's achieved such a lot and he looked about as useful and a Shelvey before Nuno got here so fair play. More PL goals than Michail Antonio and level with Luis Suarez, not far off Ings and Cantona puts it into some perspective. Awoniyi if fit offers more but that's a big if and we're lucky we had him this year. He could quite easily have got a few more last year too.
