The Forest Focus interview with Tom Carledge is interesting because it confirms they haven't concluded anything re: ground changes. Our Chairman's take is that we should be eternally grateful we have a committed ambitious owner and he only wants the best for us. The best is whatever generates the most revenue as we compete in the brave new world.
The good thing about not hating Notts County is there's always an alternative when Forest goes beyond what I can accept.
I thought he was pretty good (accepting that there are constraints on what he can say - e.g. re PSR status etc)
Think it’s pretty clear they are going to come up with a list of criteria for a Forest premier league ground (that doesn’t include walkability from the city centre/bus station/train station but pretends Toton, or wherever, is accessible by public transport) and conclude, “with regret”, the City Ground no longer works and they have to move.
Enough people will buy it as the price of ambition.
That was my take.
When people say nothing is concluded in my experience it mostly is.
His multiple mentions of how grateful we should be to our owner was a bit nauseating I thought.
He's unlikely to be thick, and has probably noticed that this is a necessary component of remaining in the job.
Amended to what I took from it
Agreed, as Tricky says he knows what side his bread is buttered.
North Korea analogy a good one, in my mind I had hints of captured allied pilots Gulf war propaganda.
Strikes me of someone taking football a little too seriously.
This is a not particularly insightful but very positive interview with Danilo.

Apparently Marius Wolf and NFFC briefly followed each other on insta before quickly unfollowing.
German wing back. Will be free after leaving Dortmund.
6'2". Would be nice to have a full back who can provide a presence defending set pieces.
So we have to pay the VAT, we can't get out of it by saying the HMRC told us too late.
ps - nothing to worry about - even HMRC say it was an innocent error when they changed software
Decent Q&A with Daniel Taylor on t’Athletic.
Apparently plan was to sell Danilo for 80m this window, but obviously hasn’t worked out this way.
Interest in Niakhate, as well as Murillo and Taiwo.
Progress on Toton way more advanced than it appears - does allude to county council needing to sell the site though. (This may become more important if Bradley loses his other job next month, having already missed out on mayor).
Q and A with Daniel Taylor on Athletic site.
*Yates to be offered new deal
*interest from West Ham in Taiwo, Chelsea considered bid in Jan.
*interest in Niakahte
*Felt it was a good deal for Mangala who was sold to help with FFP hearing
*interest from top clubs in Murillo, one see him as a potential LB.
*Far more has been done with Toton than just an interest. Viewed as only site could move to. Would cost £500m and all funded by Marinakis who is loaded. But nothing agreed. Has seen plans for Bridgford Stand extension and would involve buying some more houses on Colwick Road.
*Holme Pierepoint was planned for new training ground
*Nuno stays, players like him. Caveat that things can change quickly.
15 yr old Zayn Blake signed a contract despite interest from Man Utd, good prospect.
Reyna was signed as Nuno was petrified about any injury to MGW
And more.
