I would agree with this bit: "In hindsight it is increasingly clear that the six Super League clubs should probably have been allowed to go", except that I don't think they proposed to go, I think they proposed to have their Super League and still muck about with our league too.

It would have been sad to lose the biggest and most historically important english league clubs, as well as chelski and manshitty. But it would have been a price worth paying to re-stablish the FA cup and a proper competitive sustainable league structure. But as you say, their intention was to have the cake, the icing, and the cherry on top, and only leave the crumbs.

Isn't / wasn't our points deduction appeal hearing today?

Believe so. Guess it means we'll hear the outcome after Sheff U.

I think we’ve done plenty this week to improve our advocacy

Dear #nffc, we've decided to punish you by giving you back your 4 points and condemning you another season of Premiershipleague, VAR and PGMOL cuntitude.
    Yours etc...

Maybe we'll have earned some sympathy from the panel. Or the reverse. It's really hard to say.

I'd hope our refereeing/twitter troubles would have no bearing whatsoever.

Everton aren't going to hear the results of their appeal until after the end of the season, are they? Maybe we'll get some points back for taking them out of the relegation conversation and saving everyone's blushes.

In a completely opaque process, without guidelines, or any defined framework, I dare say we'll be getting whatever 'they' want.

Like the laws, and VAR, there's sufficient wiggle room to sell any outcome.

Leicesters season ticket prices for next year.

Much more affordable than ours. And although a flat pack bowl a more comfortable experience.

I don’t have a massive problem with the adult prices for ours (if in the PL) but the lack of concessions in younger age groups is stark when you look at this.

Quite a big difference between their renewal and new prices, which is maybe an indicator of direction of travel.

I don't suppose we are currently anticipating too many new tickets being available, if we stay up, but I wonder what the price will be if it does come to that.

They did also manage to piss everyone off by charging £25 for the actual season card. (No cost if fans choose to go digital).

Athletic done a bit of a Maranakis puff piece. It’s not his fault he cares so much and sniffs corruption, it’s just Greek culture.
No mention of the insane ego which led to him sacking the manager because he was too popular.
I also got told today the museum opening was delayed as the owner wasn’t happy there was nothing about him, so they had to delay it until he had his own display.

If it's a puff piece, it's not doing him any favours. It makes him sound mental.

Maybe because that's an invention of the fevered brain of the cult members, and because virtually no manager in the modern game survives winning 1 game in 13 and 3 in 18?
