Not really sure why he got dropped in the middle of a run of really good form

    Red zone?

I can never work out whether that's like danger, danger, high voltage, or a brilliant thing for a forest player to be in.....

Selling Mangala in January is looking increasingly stupid.

PSR gonna PSR. As we know from bitter experience getting deals done in the summer window before June 30th is tough, and I imagine it will be even harder this year with the Euros happening.

It does. But we didn’t think quite as stupid at the time. And we were very conscious about getting some money back.

Dominguez and Danilo looks too small a partnership for a game like this. One of them and one of Yates and Sangare (in principle) against the bigger units of Everton would seem pragmatic.
But I wasn't unhappy with the selection. It just didn't work out.

Yates wouldn’t have lasted 30mins, as evidenced by his instant booking.

Up to a point. Business-wise it was pragmatic. And I thought at least one of our other midfielders might get consistent. I still think they'll work it out

You do know we only have 4 games left to work it out? And one is against City when we won't be working anything meaningful out.

After that most/all of that midfield will have gone on to pastures new.

The league and the FA sound pretty angry with our approach and are looking at whether it infringes rules. Wouldn't it be funny right if we finished ahead of Luton but then got another points deduction for this which then put us down.

Points deduction? I think it will be a fine.
If it is a points deduction, no it won’t be funny.

I didn't say it would be in time to make a difference.
Anyway, I blame the managers/coaches etc as much as the players.

Sometimes you just have to laugh about these things.

Tonight's U21s game at home to Reading (at Loughborough University) abandoned due to a serious injury to Forest midfielder Ben Perry (Reading leading 2-0 at the time).

Sheffield United can't be that surprised. They now have 39 points from their last 74 premier league games.

I'm not sure which I'm more surprised about, Jonathan Liew writing an article that doesn't irritate me or Ingo posting an article from The Guardian.

I would agree with this bit: "In hindsight it is increasingly clear that the six Super League clubs should probably have been allowed to go", except that I don't think they proposed to go, I think they proposed to have their Super League and still muck about with our league too.
