It doesn’t say members won’t have any priority.

@Russ, your points are indeed valid and logical in the real world.

But point 1 could equally apply to the increases in season card costs. About £2m seems to be the estimate of the amount it will raise. More than your 500k, but frankly a drop in the ocean.

I've seen a quote from the Bayern president (or some such title) saying they could put their prices up and raise another 2m, but that amount is something you spend 2 minutes discussing in transfer negotiations, so what's the point versus effect is has on individual fans.

On the second point, I suspect the club believe they have so much demand v supply (games selling out, 10k waiting list) that the need for subscription customers is not a big consideration.

Your faith in the management of the club to even have a basic grasp of GCSE business studies is higher than mine.

I know it's an obvious thing to say but, if the club is in the bottom half of the championship again in 3 or 4 years time, they might be regretting pricing out some of the people who were prepared to keep renewing for a season when they weren't allowed into games and when Chris Hughton had just led the club to 17th in the championship.

In some ways, I'm now pretty ambivalent about potentially moving to the Toton Superdome. Would give me an ideal opportunity to jump off the BRT and just become a normal person who watches on TV and goes a couple of times a season.

The prices will be reduced and incentives offered if we dwindle in the championship again. It’s why we had some ridiculously cheap tickets that people (understandably) got very used to.

And lots of those people will have found other things to do with their time and money. I saw a comment on twitter last night about Southampton playing to lots of empty seats despite being on the edge of the automatic places. How do people think that happens? Bet they'll sell out next season if they are in the premier league.

All you legacy fans need to get off the PL train

That's exactly what they are telling you.

Yeah I was watching. It was crazy. Loads of empty seats.

    That's a very good statement, I think.

Isn't it a bit 'horse has bolted' though? I don't expect it will make any difference at all. You are in, or you are out. Customers welcome.

Doing back to back displays for Palace and then Fulham coupled with the clubs home made quality bring the noise video made me wonder if the club had helped at all here to support this, particularly now they are withholding a Man City display. Glad to see they have gone for it.

Good statements from both. Will be interesting to see how (and if) the club responds to Forza's suggestions for next steps.
