If my auntie had bollocks she'd be my uncle ;)
What if she just talked them, like you?
Spent that much time in your company it's clearly rubbed off
Rubbed off?
Help, help, I'm being oppressed!
These days you don't even need the bollocks, your auntie can just say she's your uncle and bob's your uncle as it were.
According to some expert reported by NEP our breach of FFP is worse than Everton's. www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/football-news/nottingham-forest-hotter-water-everton-9097278
I have also read somewhere but cannot find the link that Forest were warned but chose to ignore it. I think this may be where we held on to Johnson for a better fee. However because it was a deliberate breach in other words a fuck you to the Premier League we are going to be made examples of. Fair play if that's the case but why can Man City say fuck you 115 times.
I would love to stay up but if we do go down due to points deduction my annoyance is with clubs hierarchy. I think its irrelevant any way as I think we are down regardless, the team isn't good enough. Unfortunately we will have to play the Sheep again as they are definitely getting promoted.
In other news our shipping containers are arriving and soon we will have 30,000 again!
Doesn't say that at all.
“Forest could end up in hotter water than Everton on the more recent charge, but it will depend on how significant the breach is over and above the regulation.”
Everton selling £112m of players isn't really relevant because despite that they are still somehow over the limit.
I'm not sure about this plumbing metaphor. It means nothing without temperatures. Everton's water might be uncomfortably cold, whilst ours might be a positively balmy 35 degrees.
It's all guess work articles. I would guess Evertons 10 point deduction will be reduced on appeal and will get a second one within a point or two of what we get.
I can't understand why the quantum of the breach hasn't been made public. All we "know" is that it's less than £30m.
If it's anything like the Everton one, that may be because that's part of what needs to be determined. Everton reported they were under the limit but the league chucked out some of their exclusions to put them over.
Forest in one of their few comments about it said something about a disagreement over promotion bonuses (which are definitely excluded from the EFL calculation), which you'd think should be transparent and contractual but then didn't Murphy end up suing to get his?
There's a suggestion on social meeja that if you have contracted professionals aged over 21 on your books, you have to name them in the 25, if there are spaces. Would explain naming Laryea and Shelvey in there, as otherwise Arter would have got the call...
Our FFP breach is going to turn out to be Harry Arter's £35m promotion bonus isn't it?
Well, if they ever wanted a gold-plated example of fiscal irresponsibility...
