Update to this: 13 clubs voted for the block on intra-group loans, and they need 14.

So trying to figure out who the seven are, presumably all clubs that are part of such a group:
Forest
Newcastle
Man City
Everton
Palace
Chelsea
Wolves?
Sheff U, not Palace: x.com/martynziegler/status/1727041274987807230?s=61&t=w-weDDzS0PXEYtazUCi1rg
Interesting, the BBC article says the following which I took to mean they had voted against:
Crystal Palace are one of five clubs - including French club Lyon - owned by Eagle Football Holdings
Seems like group ownership is increasing, not decreasing, so if it isn't going to pass now I'm going to guess it never will.
Brighton have sister clubs I believe.
Brighton have sister clubs I believe.
Their owner is a minority shareholder in a Belgian league team. Useful for getting Brighton's kids some game time, but not likely to be a huge pipeline for Premier League-ready loanees.
This could be the new Zenith Data!
According to someone on X 28 years ago today we beat Lyon 1-0 in the UEFA Cup. The rockstar scored the rebound from a Pearce saved penalty.
Meanwhile the U21s won 2-1 at Accrington Stanley in the EFL cup, largely thanks to a 92nd minute penalty save.
U21s through to R2 as runners-up to Accrington on goals scored.
Potential R2 opponents (seeds in northern half of draw)...
Blackpool, Wrexham, Wigan, Bolton, Bradford, Sheep or Doncaster.

He didn't mention it. Nor did anyone else. He was on the scoresheet tonight, in our five nil win. Even with years out of the game, he still has it, and is leading the Tuesday night scoring charts. Although it's some levels below where he made his name as a player.

Fixed to give it its full moniker. It's some sort obligation in law. Apparently.
Cuntsticks. Taiwo out for at least 2 months
Taiwo out for months after groin surgery. FFS.
There may be trouble ahead. I hope they've been teaching Origi to run.
I presume that puts him out of AFCON too.. so it’s very shit for him, as well as us.
But it does probably kill of any worries that one of the various ‘big clubs’ who need a striker will try for a move in January.

I didn't have any such worries. I like Taiwo and what he does for us, but I don't think he's quite up to the level of playing for a top 6/8 club.
It definitely makes centre forward our number one need come Jan 1st though.
