Gonna mean it takes even longer to get out of the Trent End after these interminable games they have these days.

Bore off, Nimby nazimon. Anything to get our attendances above that of Leicester and Derby is a good thing and if it delays your post game horse burger that's all the better.

Apparently Alex Mighten is the lowest paid footballer in the Premier League on £3462/week. Guessing they're only counting those who have played.

I saw that the other day and it's a massively questionable source.

Sounds like the Marinakis football empire is about to expand further, he's on the verge of purchasing Rio Ave who are currently third from bottom of the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Football Updates on the Facebook is about as reliable as the Twatters.

No, I mean the actual source data. It all comes from Capology, which as the name suggests is a site primarily used for collating salary data from cap leagues like the NFL, NHL and NBA. The difference is that those leagues are required to make that data public, while football leagues are not. So it's really just a best guess, you might as well use a video game for your data source.

Seems like a team we’ve had transfer dealings with in the past.

As the senior partner in the organisation, at least while we're in the Premier League, I wonder if it will serve as a useful staging post for our pipeline of South American talent?

    ITK latest:

The club has been talking to sports branding agencies about Marianakis' exit plan - how he would position the club for investment or sale. (At least one was pitching to them a week or two back.)

I'm not sure whether that is a long or short-term aspiration. I'll try and find out.

I understand it's de rigeur with such an undertaking to start by asking the neighbours and checking the bins for McDonalds and Nandos cartons.

I'm not sure if this is entirely feasible being on a different continent in a different hemisphere, but, it apparently seems to work for Charlie and he successfully employs this MO from Southwell, which in many ways equates to the same thing.
