Rumours Arter has been offered having his contract paid up, but turned it down. Also rumours he is doing his coaching badges and helping the U18s...

Looks like Toffolo has got a five-month ban - but suspended until end of next season.

Which effectively means no ban unless he's a bad boy in the meantime?

No Dennis, Biancone, Shelvey, Horvath or Arter. Anyone else missing?

Percy just said that "Jonjo Shelvey is close to joining Turkish club Rizespor on loan after unhappy spell at Nottingham Forest. Emmanuel Dennis also likely to move to Turkish Super Lig before Friday’s deadline"

The other Shelvey but that's no surprise.

I presume that they meant unhappy for us? He was useless, but got paid.

and hopefully didn't bet on our games. Obviously FA keeping mum.

Maybe he only bet in Shady's

Since the offences took place when he was playing for Norwich, I doubt it would make much difference if he placed bets on Forest.

The fact that Toff’s ban has been suspended when Toney’s wasn’t makes me wonder in what way Toney’s conduct was worse; superficially they had a similar number of offences, so Toney must have been blatant

I think, probably, that Toney's were current and ongoing, where Toffs were 'historical'. There are very many footballers who bet, they are no less susceptible to the barrage of betting adverts than the rest of society. I've heard the suggestion that something that was unusual in Toney's case, was that he actually might have been winning money. Which always draws more scrutiny from the betting industry.....

Certainly some of Toney's bets were on games he was playing in, or involving his club at the time (where he would have inside info on team selection etc) - including for his side to lose.

Also potentially because Toff pleaded guilty and came clean
