    Michelin star balti pies?

    westbridgfordwire.com/nottingham-forest-plans-to-buy-nottingham-city-fine-dining-restaurant/

    Why?

Doesn't make much sense if they are just intending to open a restaurant on the other side of the city centre. Intending to use the hotel to put people up?

More hospitality seats (like the ones they sell at the cricket ground), more income.

I know it's on top of the hill but there's not a great view of the pitch from there.

Maybe they will put some tellies in. I'd get Fawaz on that.

Definitely big tellies too. If he branched out into air fryers as well he could become the one stop shop for the Incel generation.

It’s possible to have a few drinks in the city centre, with a bit of food and then make your way to the WFCG.

Anyway this appointment shows we are clearly trying to increase our income from non footballing matters

Perfect. The saggy low point should be just about where it crosses the railway line.

I's just like to point out that the world famous city ground is at water table height. Ingo, I mean our king, is an out of touch fucking dullard, with the planning capability of a mid 17th century village idiot.

Fair play to him for taking his new role so seriously.

I didn't know it had closed. What happened?

I think the old owner retired and they shut the main restaurant a few years ago.

I didn't know it had closed either. I only went once, on date, for afternoon tea.

It was most pleasant as I recall. And went down well with the lady I took.
It was during my apparent 'hot, but fucking fruitloop' magnet phase.

    Good times.

We went there for our wedding night. Someone bought us a bottle of champagne.

I went once. It was a bit like a church service, crossed with trooping the colour. Loads of people hanging around, not doing much, watching you eat. While dressed in penguin suits (yes sean, them not us). Food was very decent, but I totally hated the thing as a whole. Never went again. I believe my father and the golf club set quite liked it. And Sven, obviously.

Hang on, what did I do?

It's a roller coaster, this thread.

Rumours on social meeja (I saw it on X yesterday and Fbk today) of a player going into rehab for an addiction to nitrous oxide.
