It's a bit shit we have to comply with the 70% uefs rule even though not in Europe., yet the reason for the Prem having the higher 85% threshold is supposed to be to allow clubs not in Europe to compete with those who are and have extra revenue because they are.

Not sure if this is just Romano, but

    Quoted message:

EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest and Vitor Pereira could NOT continue together for the upcoming season.

Understand there’s movement behind the scenes at #NFFC and Pereira could be gone.

    Shocked, shocked, I say.

Must have someone 'better" lined up?

Glasner still not found a home?

    Or Pep...

Not sure i see the point of sacking a manager who's done well in order to upgrade when we all know the next manager wont be here for the long term.

Unless the reports of Jones not wanting to come here are an indicator of Pereira being a blocker to new signings?

Not sure Pereira being manager would put off potential signings. Especially if, like Jones, they know players at the club. Isn't he particularly well liked by the playing staff? More off putting to me would be the constant rotation of coaching staff.

I was delighted when Dyche got sacked I was lukewarm to Vitors appointment. He did fantastic in keeping us up but I also felt that was as good as he would be when you look how he never stays anywhere for long. A contract extension concerned me as he would have been gone by October, not upset to see him go but as ever, depends on who we get in.

This is completely nuts for two reasons:

    (1) Sacking Pereira is completely nuts given the job he has done and the positivity he has brought and the Portugese etc.

    (2) Glasner wanting to join us given how high his stock is after winning the FA Cup and a European trophy at Palace is nuts.

We'd just need to replace Anderson with Wharton to really turn the screw.

It’s not at all mad. Glasner is a massive upgrade on Vitor. Yes he did well but that’s his ceiling, his career shows that. 19 jobs since 2002. It’s actually nice to replace at a position of strength for a change rather than scramble around in October.
