The goal was a goal, correctly officiated. The second yellow certainly has an argument but then so do the Jesus incidents, which I'm guessing we haven't raised in our letter. Is there a general bias towards big clubs? I can't prove it but I can absolutely believe it is there, and always has been. I also imagine a vociferous home crowd creates some bias in decision making. There is also a lot of attempting to con referees from all clubs, including ours, and that and all the whining isn't helping them do a good job.

The lie being repeated to make it truth.

My gripe with the refereeing on Saturday wasn't so much about the two big decisions, though the Dias incident was 100% intentional you can be sure of that. My issue was with Jones' attitude to Citys persistent sneaky fouls everytime one of our players looked like getting an advantage in their half they pulled, tripped, shoved and all he gave was a free kick nullifying any advantage we might have got without a sight of a yellow card until the 36th minute (they should already have had 3 by then). The first time a Forest player does a deliberate foul to stop an attack he's booked (43rd min). He's basically given City free reign to nullify Forest as an attacking threat for 2/3 of the first half.

And I believe their first yellow card was for dissent, not fouling. Presumably Dias couldn't understand why he wasn't allowed to crucify Jesus at every opportunity.

    Where have I lied?

Remarkable that they would have a bloke called Billy and another called Will who display such similar behaviours.

It's when 'they' start talking in the third person and signing off emails with 'we can only advise and recommend' or 'nae comment' that we need to worry.

Is the ticket office now relying on Jonathan Greening?

Sangare and Boly were unused subs for Ivory Coast's 3-2 win over Gabon. Now through to the knockout round against Benin on the 6th.

Begin the Benin. Possibly one for just Dave Rave.

My mistake - they play Burkina Faso on the 6th. If they win that as expected, they have the winner of Egypt v Benin on the 10th.

I don't know why I care, I'm not particularly fussed about having either of them back. Sangare is a useful squad member to have around but I'm not picking him ahead of Dominguez or Luiz.

Benin, you're always running here and there (here and there)
You feel you're not wanted anywhere (anywhere)
    If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
    There's something you should know
Morgan Gibbs-White has failed to track his runner again.
