But I'll always have the 9 men at Cov away.

Think that's the most angry I've ever been at a football game. Though 1-2 of the times we played Sheffield United when they had Warknock as manager probably come close.

I was there for Dessie's goal, although admittedly we had started walking towards the corner of the Main Stand to leave, which ended up putting us closer to the action.

I wasn't at Peterborough. My wife was, but I didn't know her at that point.

I wasn't at 9 men Coventry, but I was there when Kevin Campbell scored a hat-trick on opening day, did a cricket celebration, and refused to talk to the media afterwards because he had finally arrived as a Forest player and shown the doubters how wrong they were. He went on to double that tally in the rest of the season, finishing as joint top scorer with 6 goals, the team didn't win another game until the back end of December, and we finished bottom of the league. To be fair, he was very good the following season.

I haven't been there for the vast majority of the last 3 and a bit years of Premier League football.

    I wasn't at Peterborough either.

    Or Knebworth.

    Or Spike Island.

But I'll always have the 9 men at Cov away.

    Same for all the above.

I was listening to the radio for Des's goal. I was not at the game. What the fuck is Spike Island?

Chicago: Young and poor at the time.

If you have to ask, you'll never understand.

(It was a legendary Stone Roses gig.)

The 90s equivalent of Woodstock, the Pistols at Free Trade Hall, Live Aid.

If the amount of people who claimed to be at these were actually at them, attendance would have been in the millions.

I think the closest I get is Blind Melon, Soul Asylum, The Cult, and Guns N’ Roses one week and then Diamondhead, The Almighty *, Megadeth, and Metallica the following week. Both at Milton Keynes.
    * was supposed to be Alice in Chains.

Forest-wise, the extremely fun day where I met Berry and we all went berserk when they read out the England v Australia rugby score at halftime. Met some other talkback folk and fell asleep on the train back and missed my stop. I think Forest won. 2007?

The closest I come is turning down a ticket to see an up and coming band from Manchester at the Irish Centre in Leeds (capacity around 300). I couldn't be bothered trekking into town to see some nobodies who were never going to amount to anything anyway.

    Oasis.

Valley Parade 2006. Charlie and Frank's last game.

The sense of relief that fetid dog turd of a season was over was palpable. (The next year was only marginally better and the Yevoli play offs was still a year away, but we didn't know that, obvs.).

When I worked at The Haymarket there was a lad front of house who several times invited me to see his band. Either I didn't have the night off or I couldn't be arsed to travel to the other side of London for a random gig.
It was Carl Barat and The Libertines.

I was at that one. On the Sunday, with Ronnie Wood and broken armed Gilby on stage with Izzy Stradlin for tbe accoustic set.

I saw Almighty and Megadeth (as Vic and the Rattleheads) as well at Rock City. Not the next week, but probably same year (93?).

0-0? Struck the penalty so hard it hit the bar and rebounded outside the area. I was in the away end.

I was at Coventry for a midweek game where the ref got injured and a female took charge. Can’t remember when this was or the score, it was the Ricoh and midweek though.
