There is a theory that the Betis tickets are easy to get because you have to show your passport and collect your tickets in Seville, and the away members are suddenly not so interested because they can't resell them for a profit as they do with domestic matches.

I imagine there is a bit of that. But rather than just profit, it's that there's people who have 6-7 ST and away memberships in all their families names and then use them to bring along various mates and friends or friends etc on a game by game basis. I know a few of these people. They're mot doing it for profit really. I've always got tickets from them at face value. But they just don't want to "give up" the level of membership they've managed to get to with their group of tickets. Clearly they should. But there we go. So yeah, the guy I'm thinking of ... Only 3 of the 8 tickets he has have been bought, as the actual 'legal' names on the tickets don't match the people who normally go.

TL;DR - You are correct IMO, but it's a bit more nuanced than just profit.

The logic has been for a while that you buy the ticket and then worry about if you are going later. I'm not really down with having my season ticket performance tracked and reviewed but if it opens up away games again then I'm all for digital tickets that can only be used by the named individual.

Yes. This is me and my family group.

According to Forest socials Dominguez is back in training. Will presumably take a week or two to get anywhere near sharp enough for selection, but it's definitely good news. One of my favourite players in the squad.

I wonder if he might be an acceptable option at right back for cover.

Wasn’t there at least one game when Nuno tried that and it went badly?

Like a midfielder. Often nicking the ball on the blind side, as he buzzes around the player. In defensive positions doesn't square the player up and narrow options - so not great defending one on one. The hollywood turnover, or the player can get away. Doing that with a level of competence is a bit of a pre-requisite for defending well as a full-back.

Just refreshing this point I made

I thought it was Steve that said that.

Kudos to the ticket office. I've had cause to email them a few times in the last two weeks and they've sorted things out incredibly quickly and efficiently every time. They transferred a ticket from my brother to my daughter today within 2 minutes of the email being sent.

Have you ever considered renting a workspace somewhere within NG2, like, for example, within short walking sldistance yo the NFFC ticket office?

Given the amount if time you apparently spend emailing/ phoning / fretting about their products and services coupled with your frequent military logistical planning for train services to and from Nottingham anyway, it would probably make a lot of sense.

I think it's just par for the course when you're a PROPER FAN Sean.

    Just a suggestion like.

I used to just drive the 360 mile round trip with my season ticket every other week for the best part of 2 decades for the division 2 and 3 action and negate all of that hullabaloo myself.

    Until I didn't anymore, obviously.
