I'm really confused as to why we're named in the appeal, we don't have any decision making power in this whole situation.

    Weird innit.

I assume because they want to nick our justly awarded place in the Europa League.

If anything, it seems to give our lawyers (in addition to the UEFA ones) chance to put forward arguements as to why Palace should not be in the competition.

I guess it's kinda Forest news... Textor had his Eagle Holdings assets frozen by a Brazilian court. So we might have to find someone else to give us sketchy deals on shiny young players.

Interesting note in the pre season dispatch from the ticket office:

    Quoted message:

Whilst the club hasn’t yet introduced any attendance tracking policies, or enforces the use of the Ticket Exchange, we encourage Season Card holders to list their seat on the Ticket Exchange for any fixtures they cannot attend, to enable other supporters the opportunity to come to the City Ground.

“Yet” the key word there, you feel.

We know it's coming. This could be the last season (of my continuous run) that I watch a Forest game in person.

As long as they don't make me go to every game and just insist on my seat being used, then I'm in favour.

Not entirely shocking news, it looks like Marinakis is planning to help Textor get control back of Botafogo, and then take a majority shareholding and add it to the group.

It's the Thatcher membership card scheme finally enacted.

That’s the current situation though. Although not legally enforced, so not as problematic.

Thatcher didn’t express any views on making season ticket holders attend games.

Previously I could get a pdf of a ticket and send on to anyone. Or give my season card to someone. Technically breaches the terms maybe but you can do it.

Going forward you have to be a registered (paid) member to get the ticket. So giving a spare to a mate costs them a membetship.fee.

I think she probably quite enjoyed the notion of the police rounding them up and battering the fuck out of them with big sticks when they did, though.

Especially the really oikish looking ones. Possibly.

Next season you will still be able to give/lend your card to someone else.

True but only because I paid the extra to get a card, for the last year they will be available.

    From Radio Nottingham:

Crystal Palace have been drawn against either Fredrikstad or FC Midtjylland in the Conference League play-off round, with the first leg to played at home.

If #cpfc win their appeal against expulsion from the Europa League, it's likely #nffc will take their place in this tie.

EDIT: first club is Norwegian and the second Danish
