Also, anyone who was concerned that we didn't have an official battery power product partner can now relax: www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/2025/july/23/Club-announces-NOCO-as-official-battery-power-product-partner/

Always good to be reminded that the human world is utterly mad.

Does anyone still get a flat battery on a car? I thought it was a 90s thing. Seems like money laundering to me.

We've had this before. Mrs Simon has had three flat batteries in her car in the last 4 years. If you almost never drive the thing, it can happen.

In the world of vehicle small battery charging, Noco are about as premium as they get. I have one of their proprietary tender connectors on my Honda 125. The connection beats the SAE standard connector hands down.

    Expensive though.

I barely understood a word of that but I'm glad you're happy.

Sounds like an earth fault or your battery needs replacing.

I had a flat battery a couple of months ago, I don't drive the car from one week to the next and I left an interior light on. And as it's an AGM battery that was the original installed unit from 2018, of course running it flat fucked the entire unit and I had to pay $400 to buy a new one.

A Noco charger might have saved that old battery of yours.

I'm not kidding, they are the dogs nuts in the battery charging world.

Feels like Edu's appointment is an effective demotion for Wilson.

There was mention in an article on there a few weeks ago he’d had an interview.

Anyway, he’s then one everyone decided was crap when he got appointed here. I don’t know how good he is but I’m sure we will cope.

2018 sounds well old, it's important to keep these things current.
