Good. Because it only takes a couple of vocal knobends to make it look like there's a whole movement.

There's also a report that UEFA sent a letter suggesting 31 May would be a better date for the multi-ownership cobblers, giving Palace some hope, and us some nerves.

Presumably to finance the stadium expansion. Not that worrying and pretty common. If it's to pay wages and day to day costs much more so.

Edit: Paywall prevented me seeing anything other than the title.

It was the ECA not UEFA, and the email from the ECA that Palace didn't read didn't contradict the email from UEFA that they also didn't read. Clubs were advised to take action by March 1st with a deadline of having resolved the situation by sale or blind trust or whatever by May 31st. Neither of which they did.

I saw somewhere that it was refinancing of existing debt. We had a similar figure as loans at the end of last year, so maybe just delaying repayment.

May also be on better terms, given we would be regarded as a safer bet today than prior. 8.75% isn’t excessive in an industry which carries a hefty risk-premium. Because Leicester.

S’worth remembering that the uber-wealthy like EM tend to finance stuff with debt as much as possible as getting cash out of their wealth comes with a tax bill and (potentially) a need to reduce the control they have over certain investments.

So in the context of a modern PL club that is known not to be self-financing, it doesn’t sound worrying at all.

    Brentford tickets on sale today.

As expected, another match day price rise. Have not seen any announcement on match day prices but assume this is a high cat game as it’s the first one.

Adult tickets £50-£70. Sure could get one for £43 last season in this price band. It’s getting very pricey.

Yeah talking about it in our WhatsApp group. Really pushing up isn't it. I'll certainly be going to fewer games this season. The PL buzz has waned a little and the price is beginning to bite, especially when I've already paid £100 for membership. I'll say again - Season Tickets are great value.

Yep, I’ll go to the first one but likely from then on if its TV I’ll watch from home and try and go to the ones that aren’t.

Season tickets are good value, and I’m sure Forza won’t get involved in any concern about match day pricing despite ‘withdrawing their support’ during the relegation battle when their season ticket prices went up.

Also just noticed it’s £18-£30 to take a 4-13 year old.

    That’s ridiculous.

I know they won’t care currently they can fill the seats but they really are risk of losing fans who will simply be priced out.

If I was to take my 3 kids it could potentially cost £160 to watch them play Brentford. Obviously I’m not going to do this.

No wonder non league crowds are growing.
