They did two or three days filming for this, and the short video released so far doesn't include any of that footage. I wonder if they decided to temporarily pull the main launch video because of the MGW meltdown and shot the short film they released this afternoon?

I realise everyone has a fascination with Addidas because of the kit from the late 70’s early 80’s but their kits are awful, so cut and paste from every other kit they make and this hardly an improvement.

It's obvious MGW was a big part of the kit release and they've pulled the main video and put out something knocked up overnight.
Which crossing to the other thread does not bode well for a well planned replacement.

I think that’s a leap. I expect the people at the club involved in putting together kit launch videos are quite distinct from those involved in recruitment. The latter will have known towards the end of last season there was a decent chance of Morgan leaving and should have a list prepared. It would have been weird for the former to not include the man who mostly led the team out last season.

I did say earlier in the window, that all these central defenders does have a bit of a back three feel (Jair, Milenkovic, Murillo probably as first choice). So maybe not a direct replacement but in the aggregate.

The atmosphere in the away end at Chesterfield tomorrow will be interesting. Combination of heat, ale and yesterday's news is likely to have a few frothed up.
