If you were going to issue a statement like that, it needed to be immediate. Leaving it a couple of days only stokes the story and gives the very media you're complaining about an absolutely legitimate reason to report it all over again.

Rob Dorset, from Sky, reporting that Awoniyi 'ruptured his intestine' when colliding with the post. Condition worsened over 24 hours and led to emergency surgery last night.
Never heard of that injury before but it sounds horrendous. As in, car-accident bad.

I was at Nottingham magistrates on a driving offence in May last year.
I did not get a ban though. I was only there for a SP30 and I ticked the wrong box on the online fixed penalty notice thing.
This (un)arguably makes me a bellend ws as well, although for slighly different reasons.

I agree he's a bellend for doing those speeds repeatedly. But regarding the 'learning' I am guessing he didn't even get the first fine through the post before he'd already done it 5 more times? I wonder if they're recently installed a new speed camera.

Come on @Jim7 you should know the rules of football by now. Whilst he is playing for us this kind of behaviour from MGW is just one of those things. However if/when he leaves us I’ll be necessarily mortified by such irresponsible actions.

Pretty sure there’s no permanent speed camera there. He must just have been caught every time they set up a mobile one.
