What I think they could have done better is tell people up front what the process would be for later cup rounds rather than donut retrospectively..

Ticket details released. Some priority to people who've been to previous fa cup games.

    Which has pissed me off.

I pay for a my forest pro membership so should be given priority after season ticket holders. Like for league and cup games.

They have a made a straight forward process more complex than it needs to be.

Presumably to be able to flog more memberships and early cup round tickets in the next few seasons.

It says tickets will sell out in sales window 5, which is the one I’ll be having a stab at. So I might not get one. Fuck the fuck off.

I don't understand. You ARE being given priority?

    www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/2025/april/04/ticket-details---fa-cup-semi-final/

Are you in the position where you've not been to a single FA Cup game? So you'll be competing against the people in the below member level who have been to 2+ cup games? I wouldn't worry, I'll be amazed if you don't get tickets.

I just thought it would be:

    ST holders
    Pro members
    Plus members
    My Forest members.

Rather than chucking in preference for the FA Cup games. Something I’ve never known before. Maybe it’s something other clubs do? Hard to tell, being so shit for so long.

As it happens I should be getting a ticket as it looks like I’ll be using a ST holders ticket who is going in Club Wembley. But it still seems a bit shit.

I’ve seen a plus member on twitter who has attended every home game but no cup games, and he will be very unlikely to get one. That doesn’t seem right.

I'm fucked off as well. What is the point paying for a premium membership if they are going to deny you access to premium games?

I thought we were getting access on Monday. Called my mate a twat a few times for saying it was Tuesday. Read it again. Turns out a season ticket and all cup home matches is Tuesday. Sure they've tweaked the wording since I first read it. I can't be a twat. No way.

If we wanted to provide extra motivation for Luton and Ipswich, announcing in advance that buying tickets for their games would give you more priority for the semi (and, presumably final) would be a good way to go about it.

You really think saying something like attendance at earlier rounds may be taken into account when allocating tickets for later rounds would have made that much difference?

Strikes me as the sort of presumption that people love to pin to dressing room walls.

I never really bought into bulletin board theory. I struggle to believe that a team of professional adults plying their trade at the very highest level are going to find an extra degree of motivation because of some alleged slight on the part of the opposition's ticket office.

Also, whether they should have decided and announced it beforehand or not, it's a perfectly reasonable approach. Why not say that people who didn't want to go to less glamorous cup games when tickets were available can get behind the people who did when it comes to the sexy stuff?

If people weren't fussed about the cup in January, but are now, that's fine.. but I don't see why these glory-hunting plastic trees now think it's unfair that they're a lower ticketing priority than the people who cared all along.

It's a pretty standard thing to do though really isn't it. It's expected. I purposefully went to the games as I thought this would/could happen.

I wouldn't have minded if they'd been a heads up, I don't think that's unreasonable. In the olden days you collected program stamps and everyone knew what the crack was.

Disappointed here, doing most games on my todd since we got good I'd got a couple of dad mates who are pro members to go with. But now they have 1 cup game, so are window 4 and not 5 now. They said they'd wait until window 5 but I'm obviously not going to let them do that. If anyone has a window 4 option going begging please let me know!

I miss queuing up to get priority, I'm good at early morning.

It's not that hard getting tickets for Salford or Doncaster at home is it?

It's because of the aforementioned watching football on my todd/not being able to take the kids I'll be at the Salford game on Friday.
