Jake goes on Twitter. Pass it on.
And you missed the bloody video!
I've been staring at that list for far too long trying to figure out how Mats Sels relates to Fairytale of New York etc. before I saw the link to the video...
After the Man City game we'll have played all of the top five in our first seven away games.
I have just seen the Women's FA cup score on the BBC website, that has to be a typo. 0 - 19.
Europa League spot 6 pointer. Tee hee.
Random question ... For home games players arrive together on a coach. Where from? Do they all park at the training ground or something? Wilford Harvester perhaps?
It’ll be the training ground, surely?
Their cars are at the WFCG. So presume they meet there and take the coach to the training ground for lunch/team meeting and coach back.
Under Hughton, IIRC, they would stay in a hotel the night before home games, but SSC stopped this. I think he also stopped the arriving on a team bus for a while and everyone drove in about 1ish.
... And before this. We often saw the squad under Smoochi Lambrini at the orchard, on the university campus, on match weekends. The orchard is no longer a de vere, but bought by the university around covid. Don't believe forest have been while under new management. We were there on the original lock down Friday. Forest were not that weekend.
Personally I think staying in a hotel prior to home games is not a great idea. One of the advantages of being at home should be a bit more time to yourself, around your friends, family and stuff. Breaks up the grind of travel, hotel, and endless team meetings. This generation of player is much more professional than previous generations. Plus better sports science can identify lifestyle problems in the run up to games.
Not a typo. Apparently a team from somewhere called Itchington.
Or rather, the same words a shit ton of times.
Not really newsworthy, but a bit of a fluff peice on the Big Greek
Odd article for Great Driffield radio.
(Rob Dorsett has been trailing an interview he's got with Marinakis on sky, I assume this is nicked from something he's written?)
Why are you always talking Great Driffield Radio down?
B team 1-1 at half time in their opening National League Cup game, at Dagenham. Berry equalised after former Forest player Josh Rees put Daggers ahead.
3-1 to our guys in the end
