If someone had told us 3 years ago, by November 2024 we'll be in our 3rd consecutive EPL season, happily nestled in the top half 9 games in with a team featuring Brazil and England Internationals and Chris blimmin Wood(s) as the No. 9 being joint 3rd top scorer in the league, with Nuno Espírito Santo being a thoroughly nice man at the helm, you'd assume them to be having some sort of episode.

It’s terribly written, relies on some meaningless “data”. If I was the sports editor at the Guardian, I’d suspect it was chatGPT written and would withhold McAleer’s wages. That subject matter of the article (Forest defensively solid, quick transition and counterattack, Wood scoring goals, throw in some stats) is become this season’s clichéd version of the “Forest chaos, too many signings, leaking goals from set pieces, fans love Steve Cooper” article of the last two years. It’s more upbeat but still as lazy as shite.

These kinds of articles are interesting not because of content (which is pretty banal, although didn't know the Leicester stat if that is right) but because it shows that we are achieving cut through and that could mean we end up being able to sign better players in January than otherwise.
