It's certainly a business strategy. Not so much a sporting one.

What with this and netball and the bid for the Rockets all we need now is EM to secure a stake in the Panthers then the future of Nottingham sport is secure as it's entrusted to one very healthy looking and relaxed individual.
It certainly isn't. No more than me shouting "be taller stu" is coaching.
It may be an objective. A strategy is a process intended to achieve an objective. There is no process in 'be'.
Not news really. Things I might have 'incorrectly' learned about forest.
There seems to be a suggestion that elanga might be one of our lowest paid first team squad members (Ryan Yates levels low). That surprised me. We had the 11th biggest wage bill last season, that is looking like it will reduce this season but we will be the 10th highest wage bill.
This suggests a number of things: No wonder Elanga is keen on a move. Our recruitment is consistently underperforming our spending (not surprising from the base that we are starting from, but it does raise questions of sustainability). There is a wider squad unbuilding as league wage bills are being reduced.... And finally these figures might be complete made up fantasy bollocks (I'm not looking at transfermarkt level fantasy numbers, but a range of sources like spotrac etc.).
The final 25:
Surprising to see no one wearing 1, 2 or 3. Good to see Danilo in the squad as well.
No Dennis
I still don't know the difference between a Moreno and a Morato, nor a Sosa and a Silva.
I count 24 (plus 2 under 21s).
Why not fill the 25th place??
So you have a space spare for a free agent maybe? Dunno how that works, or if free agents can/can’t be added after squad places are sorted.
If we buy a shit-hot striker this January, we should make him number 1.
I’d think he’d more shit-hot if he was a number two.
Isn't Dennis still at the club? So I thought we had to register him to give we've a squad place spare.
It's almost as if that rule doesn't exist.
Reasonably confident we won't be messing around with any rules, especially after the Shelvey question mark...
So if we get a goalkeeper injury we can still sign a free agent, or are we able to add under 21's already with us with no restrictions?

We have 52 under 21s already registered: www.premierleague.com/news/4110099
I guess Abbott and Eric are the only two regarded as first team squad members.
