No change to the points deduction

Definitely. And I'm thinking about players like Osong (19) and Gardner (18), giving them experience so that they don't get to 23 without ever having been there.

No great surprise there really. We know what we need to do, and it isn't much now.

Was always going to be that version of the panel report after we won on Saturday.

The thought of relegating Burnley via paperwork was just too much for them to consider wasn't it.

I think he had to be as a player over 21 under contract. Not allowed to leave spaces if you have over 21s under contract.
McDonnell, Osong and Gardner made the bench two or three times in January, due to injuries.
Of those, only Gardner made it on to the pitch, once late on, again due to an injury.
Compare that with the number of appearances our 19yo Portuguese division three striker has made…

They will get plenty of game time in the Championship next year!

It's now come to the point when I view almost any decisions or utterances from the EPL with great suspicion and cynicism. The verdict may or may not be fair - but the avalanche of dubious bollocks that preceded it, from the lack of action over Man City and Chelsea to the role of VAR and the involvement of nation states, mean that I naturally assume the worst (like I do with anything involving the Government). An independent regulator can't be appointed soon enough.

Independent regulator is the answer to bad football governance in the same way that VAR is the answer to poor refereeing decisions.

I can’t see other media outlets like the BBC or Sky covering it, so maybe the club haven’t even got the official decision yet.

Thank you, sometimes I feel like I'm the only person that actually read the Crouch report. The government proposal to install their own regulator who is appointed by, funded by, and serves at the pleasure of the DCMS is not fucking independent, and the idea that a government owned football regulator will protect the sport from corruption, dubious sovereign wealth funds and billionaires is delusional.

As independent as the points deduction panels then.

I've always gone with the idea that anything that has Independent (or Democratic) in its title, isn't.
