Not quite as confident about being in the Prem next year as they were in the initial announcement it seems.

Assume the points appeal didn't go as well as they had originally thought it would.

Don't actually think these "benefits" make the price rises any more palatable.

I guess the people who have ST tend to go to pre season games? So there's a £50 ish bung they've given you there.

Some I guess, but surely they only charge £15 or so for that (you only get 1 it said).

Or, they are more confident about the appeal and staying up than they were, and are therefore comfortable making this offer in the knowledge that they won't have to worry about honouring it.

I got an email from Forest about 430 this afternoon.

Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce a range of additional benefits for 2024/25 Season Card holders, applicable to all fans renewing or purchasing a Season Card for the 2024/25 campaign.

    Guaranteed Buy-Back Scheme

Season Card holders will now have the option to sell up to three of their tickets back to the club for the full pro-rata amount for selected fixtures during the season. This provides fans with added flexibility, allowing them to recoup the value of their ticket if they are unable to attend one of the selected fixtures.

Further details about the Guaranteed Buy-Back Scheme will be communicated in due course following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.

Free Pre-Season Friendly and Women's Fixtures

Season Card holders will receive complimentary access to one home pre-season friendly. Additionally, fans will enjoy free entry to two home women's fixtures at the City Ground, including the highly anticipated East Midlands derby against Derby County.

    Retail Discount

The reintroduction of a 10% retail discount for Season Card holders, both in-store and online (excluding replica kit), to reward loyal supporters with savings on club merchandise.

    Renewal Window Extension

The renewal window has been extended by five days, providing fans with additional time to secure their Season Card for the upcoming campaign. The renewal window will now close at 5 PM on Wednesday 15th May.

    Ballots for Away Fixtures

All non-away membership Season Card holders will now be able to enter a ballot to attend away fixtures. The club will conduct a 100-ticket ballot for all away league fixtures. This initiative aims to provide more fans with the opportunity to attend away matches and support the team on the road. Further details about the Away Ticket Ballot will be communicated in due course.

And now I look at it again the buy back is for games they select is how it reads? Which presumably won't be the 16k attendance ones?

Does read like that. If that’s for games that sell out, it’s not an additional benefit at all, unless they are scrapping the exchange.

Just checked back to the original announcement and it talks about the ticket exchange as something you can take advantage of so no idea what this extra bit means.

Agree it's hard to see what this actually does for you. Selected fixtures has to mean popular ones ... Which would sell out anyway regardless of division - and you'd therefore have been able to sell on the ticket exchange anyway.

Depends who is selecting them. The email reads as if it’s the club, but it’s quite possible they mean “fixtures you choose”.

It must just be badly written. They can't possibly mean the club get to chose three games that everyone could theoretically sell back their tickets for and the other 16/20 you'd have to use the exchange. That wouldn't make any sense.
