No mention of the insane ego which led to him sacking the manager because he was too popular.

Maybe because that's an invention of the fevered brain of the cult members, and because virtually no manager in the modern game survives winning 1 game in 13 and 3 in 18?

Did you ever look at the reasons why?
That SSC got us up was a miracle. That SSC kept us up was a miracle and both despite our idiot owner, not because of, as he believes.
That this seasons squad was weaker and still our idiot of an owner believed just chucking players at the problem was the answer is not SSCs fault.
The only thing SSC did wrong was connect too well with the fan base and that our idiot owner couldn’t accept it.
That you expect SSC to have worked miracles (again) in 13 games with an entirely new squad of mainly right backs is symptomatic of the modern desire for instant gratification. I blame smartphones.

I think it's a bit odd to make the claim Cooper was sacked for being too popular when his popularity saved him at least once, and probably twice, last season.

Relatively negative article on Mr M in the Times today. (Although it does end saying a couple of positive things)

By Charlotte Dunker, she seems to write a lot of negative articles on Forest, even before the latest furore.

    What's Nuno's record?

Please show me where I've defended Nuno. I'm on record multiple times as saying that I don't think he's any better and that his football is often as negative and underwhelming as Cooper's was. I suspect that we'll see him gone this summer regardless of whether we stay up or not, and I doubt many people will shed a tear.

How much is a 2 year pay off for him and his staff?

Those keepers were never going to be "huge improvements" on Keylor Navas or Henderson. Ody was less obvious, but Turner it was blatantly obvious was shite from anybody who is familiar with US men's team.

Did we ever get a definite answer as to whether there is scope for our appeal resulting in an increase in the points deduction?

    Premier league just tweeted this

    Quoted message:

Following their defeat to Newcastle, Sheffield Utd are relegated pending Everton and Nott'm Forest's points-deduction appeals

I presume it is just because they can't second guess the outcome.

As I understood it the deduction was 3 for breaching, 3 for size of breach and 2 off for early plea and cooperating.
I don't see how appealing changes any of those for the worse.

Appeal might decide that 3 wasn’t enough for the size of breach and agree with the PL that it should have been 5.

Exactly, it's open to the league to argue it should be more (as they originally did).

What with that and the last day showdown at Turd Moor, there are some good opportunities for fate to have a bloody good laugh at us.
