Been off Facebook for 10+ years, and Twitter + Instagram for about 3 years. Don't miss either of them. I do use Blue Sky occasionally but I'd say maybe 2-3 times a week and there's rarely anything interesting on it. Feels good.

I have never really been on twitter - I did have an account but haven't logged in for many years and never posted, same with Facebook - never been on Instagram at all.
It isn't for any great moral reason - I'm just massively lazily and utterly disinterested in other random peoples opinions
This is the only (anti) social media I do.

Genuinely don’t know how I’d be informed about things if I wasn’t on social media. From news and ticket sales (particularly non league) and some things the kids get involved in.
I’m ‘on’ Facebook and twitter but never post on the former, occasionally on the latter. Also have a insta account without followers.
Probably need to be aware of Tik Tok and the like as before I know it the kids will be wanting to use them (few years off yet) but as a parent you have to have some grip on it. I’d be far happier if they stayed away from them but also have to be realistic.

I'm on FB but never post. I use Insta a bit. Don't bother with the rest.
As a function of having moved a lot my friend group is scattered to the four corners of the world. Social media continues to be the most convenient way of remaining in contact with them. I'm pretty sure that isn't contributing to the downfall of society.

My nieces (14 & 17) seem to solely use SnapChat now.

I use Facebook solely to keep in touch with interests like fishing - river conditions on the Styx for example - and my local community. Rarely post. I have literally zero friends on it, not even family, and reject all requests to connect. I deleted my Twitter account a few months ago and don’t miss it at all. I have a Linked In account but haven’t looked at it for ages, which makes me think I should delete that too. Don’t use any other social media, apart from this place. Is this even social media anyway?
