Yes personally I think that the 'United States Of America' is a man made term that has done a hell of a lot more damage.

But Trump prayed for him!?
Not the only thing that he's said that didn't meet it's stated aim.
Unlike the gunman (person?).
I think we need to take a moment to recognize the quality of the marksmanship here. No panicked spray and pray, just a clean single shot to a small target from presumably some distance given they didn't catch him.
Yes I also was struck by it being a hell of a shot.
200m, I read.
Not just that but the shot took place:
- while he was in the process of answering a question (facetiously) about gun violence and school shootings
- while another school shooting was taking place (one of three today)
- while on a school campus. That allowed open carry.
Reality has some really lazy writing.
My first thought took me back to the recent Day of the Jackal series.
It’s probably good that he’s dead, but bad that he was murdered.
On balance, it would be better if this hadn’t happened.
But remember folks, empathy is a made up, new age term that does a lot of damage.
Id be much happier if there weren't any school shootings. (Or any shootings at all). But I cant escape the irony that a smooth tongued fascist with good PR was somewhat hoist by his own petard.
I think he'd probably have agreed that this particular person shouldn't have had a gun.
And we don't know why he was shot yet. He was labelled a traitor against Trump too.
Mandelson inevitably is sacked.
Mandelson inevitably is sacked.
He should never have been appointed in the first place. This is now his third (or fourth) sacking for impropriety. If you want to portray yourself as a sleaze-free party, after years of Tory grime, appointing Mandelson is a pretty stupid thing to do. I can only think Starmer thought it was a good idea because Trump and Mandelson knew each other well as they had spent so long together on Epstein Island.
Despite voting for him in the leadership elections, Starmer has the political nous and communication skills of a gnat. He’s not growing into the job and is allowing King Cunt free rein. His own goal xG must be off the charts.
But not surprising the only outlet covering the ‘Johnson files’ and his widespread corruption is the Guardian.
Plus those on the right outraged at Mandlesons association with Epstein are quiet about Trumps…..
