I'm genetically more welsh than French, I will have you know. So quite comfortable with this development.

A lot of folk will have a political affiliation and knowledge of the sector isn't necessarily bad, is it?

A rare atmospheric phenomena is being blamed for wiping out spain and portugal's power.

Not the russian/chinese/petrostate/fascists having a test run, before wiping out much of the worlds population in a post apocalyptic cull, once they've got AI sorted so all they need left is a handful of productive worker units.

    So you can rest easy.

Parking the cause for a bit, shouldn't a countrywide power network have some segregation or something so the whole lot can't all go down at once?

Canadian federal election is looking like a Liberal win, but closer than we hoped and it will probably be a minority. Worse, the NDP (the left wing) have been decimated and may not have enough seats to form the coalition the Libs will need, so it will have to be with the Bloc Quebecois which will be a little more challenging.

Still, at least the Conservatives blew a 25 point lead in the polls in the last three months.

Some of column A, some of column B. They built their entire campaign around "Trudeau bad" and then when he stepped down they had no clue what to do, and then Carney actually had a position on Trump which cooked the Cons completely.

I see that Tony Blair, a man on record as being on the payroll of the Saudis, has intervened to argue for the continuation of the petrochemical dependency.

    Colour me shocked.

    Agreed. Very very excessive.

Did I ever mention the time I blagged my way in to the directors lounge at Pride Park after thier home game with Leed, before a Bluetones / Mondays gig at the arena with the then Mrs. Seán and enjoyed the hospitality offerings while talking shit (nodding and blindly agreeing without the faintest clue, mainly) with various corporate sponsor suits and the like?

Still to this day I have no idea how or why that happened. Anyway, didn't get banged up in chokey for it.
