The difference is that I don't see how this becomes less likely with unaccountable regulation.

I didn't say anything about unaccountable regulation, I said diversified accountability.

I haven't considered logistics. It would be awkward. But less outwardly crooked than the current plan.

The current (as I write) Chancellor isn't being painted in a very good light.

I've not read the articles, but the press (read Tories) have had it in for her from the start. They can't seem to cope with a woman being in that position. Fuck em.

Just read the BBC article. It's pathetic. She spent 9.2 years at the BoE rather than 10 as it says on LinkedIn . So what. Also 25 years ago (!) her, along with two others, expense claims were subject to an internal investigation. Which seems to have gone nowhere. It's all such a joke.

Let's take Jeremy Hunt - nobody seemed to question his suitability for the role:

    Gangster bullshit

Basically most US food is shit. A lot of U.S. goods are junk. They got where they were because their shit was cheap. European goods are generally less shit and more expensive. There are the odd exceptions but I suspect that some of this will backfire in Cunts face. The USA is already heading for a recession according to economic data. I am sure this isn't going to help.

And in other news VIva Zelensky. We should all stand up to Russia.

The World really is a more dangerous place nowadays.

    Nazi's everywhere!

This is the shit this country is going to devolve into... Time for everyone to step up. Or at least our elected officials and do their fucking job.

    This is so depressing.

Quite amazing how much russian foreign policy is being promoted by the current administration. Or not surprising at all, if you've been applying even a modicum of critical thinking to go with moderate observation skills.

Having listened to the latest price of football podcast and the self serving premier League view I am more in favour of the regulator.

Just a pile of self justification

Yeah, but it wasn't really his or Kevin Days comments, more the self justification from the Premier League lady and the Brighton bloke. He just kept on saying that the review was no good as they didn't ask them their view (as a club that had experience of many issues).

This is the same mentality as "I'm voting for Trump because I don't like the other guy". Just because the Premier League doesn't like the approach doesn't de facto make it a good one, or mean it's automatically an improvement.

But what if the alternative is the premier League running it.

I don't buy your argument, the regulator isn't going to be the shit show that is Trump.
