Quarter of a million dollars seems to me to be on the high side of what I'd be prepared to pay to suffocate to death at the bottom of the Atlantic. But maybe I lack a spirit of adventure.

It seems that the porthole is only certified to 1300m, rather than the 4000m that that Titanic actually is. Which suggests that the ticking clock element of the news coverage about when they run out of oxygen is somewhat optimistic (notwithstanding that, even if it hasn't failed, they assume that none of the inhabitants has done a similar calculation and reduced the number of breathers to extend the length the oxygen will last).
I'll never understand people. Why don't they just sit in a bath and watch the documentaries, rather than put themselves in unnecessary peril of an atrocious death?
