Major police incident in Nottingham apparently.
Twitter has it from it a terrorist attack to a tram crash and a fire.
With it being ongoing for a few hours and no one seemingly knowing anything whatever it is must be fairly well contained with minimal people involved.
We now have a bomb, lots of people ran over, a hostage situation on the tram and a shooting. I suppose one might be right if enough are mentioned.
Is ‘most of Talkback’ OK?
I'm not. I put on partridge. Non-ironically.
Stabbing at 4am on Ilkeston road just sounds like random nutter killing someone they already know. Don't think that's how terrorists act.
More than likely, but it does also include running over 3 people. But terrorists don’t usually go for a 4am killing spree (maybe as it doesn’t get as much impact).
But what an awful and sad event.
I’m going drugs/gangs on the random speculation front.
The van bit just sounds like someone panicking and trying to get away (while under the influence, more than likely).
That’s my uninformed opinion as well. Woodborough road end of Magdala rd too close to St Ann’s for comfort.
I used to live on Magdala Road. I’m fine though.
So did I. I moved about 10 years ago, but I feel duty bound to call the hotline and raise suspicions about my ex neighbour Phil. He was a creative type, worked in TV. Bound to be a wrong ‘in
...our town flat is at the woodborough end of magdala road, overlooking the tennis courts.
Hark at Tricky with his city retreat.
I presume that one needs a pied a terre when one has cycled too far afield and consumed too many restorative beverages to safely navigate the A52, and the hills on Tollerton Lane seem too daunting.
