One of the sources of the made up Muslim shit re Southport turns out to be an old client of ours. Not your typical knuckle dragger, a female MD, but certainly a nut job. I suspect an arrangement was made for her to depart due to other activities. If they were still a client and she was still with the client, I would be on the phone sacking them right now.

When Jeff_Albertson and I were working on the Stoke daily 15-odd years ago, there was an EDL march through Hanley which tapped into the local knuckle-dragging element. Our snapper got an absolutely corking picture of it kicking off, which was instantly selected by the editor as the front-page image.

It was a group of five or six people attacking the police line, faces contorted in hate and rage. One woman was flicking the bird at the cops. Within 24 hours of the paper hitting the streets, she'd been identified as working front desk at a very prominent local building society, hauled before her bosses and fired. Nice little follow-up story for us, too.

Jesus, what the fuck is going on in Sunderland?

Just been watching some live footage of hundreds of far right attacking a hotel in Rotherham. About 20 police holding them off as they smash all the windows and are currently trying to set fire to it to get ‘them out’.

I know a few would get upset if any kicks to the head were given but it’s quite sickening to watch and looks a real risk to life.

Scooby Doo was less confused than these pricks. The whole thing appears to have been predicated on the fact the bloke accused of the Southport murders 'is a darkie Muslim immigrant', hence the attacking of mosques.

The fact he's British-born and apparently raised in a Christian household is irrelevant when a few hundred pissed-up scumbags decide they want to break some stuff, attack the rozzers and hurt people. All done in the name of 'saving the kids' or something.

It's genuinely scary how easily these halfwits can be mobilised on other people's behalf.
