Is there any sort of e-scooter restriction in place?

In a big acoustic tower. Security's so tight tonight, they're ready for a scuffle.
Currently in the lace market. Not wet. Have power.
The whole post office thing is very interesting.
I didn't watch the docudrama thing as it would just annoy me too much; whenever I've heard news reports over the last few years on what went on they've had that effect.
So many interesting things now coming out
the culture of the PO
fact PO can investigate, prosecute and imprison people seemingly in some kind of parallel system to any normal justice route; who knew?
the CEO who fostered the culture and never once stopped to think, maybe these hundreds of people all accused of same thing might be telling the truth, is/was an Anglican priest. Says a lot about the values of the Church as well as the PO.
I could go on, but the rage will start to build and it's only Monday morning.
This is the bit that shocked me most. Crazy.
I can only assume here that they had so little faith in their staff that they thought Horizon was finally catching all these people who had been on the fiddle, which is a bold position to hold.
I know about this - I did some high level comms work with the previous CEO, including writing a couple of speeches for him to give at annual conferences of the Federation of Subpostmasters. This CEO absolutely detested the subpostmasters, and I presume that feeling was common in the PO boardroom. Previous PO execs and ministers had had rough rides at this conference (including a minister being reduced to tears) and his brief to me was to go in hard. No love lost or trust between them at all.
You can perhaps argue that it was an 'honest mistake' if when it became clear what had happened, resolution and restitution was offered.
When they conspire to hide the scale while persecuting victims, fail to pursue redress, or hold anyone to account, while failing to fix the systems and passing the cost of action on to the cohort that form the victims, then it starts to look a better fit as a state sanctioned business plan.
It's not the only thing. Ask shades about the cladding scandal.
The Tory government ('s overlords) are conspiring with business interests to milk the country and it's people for maximum profit, with no care of what is left. It's us who will be picking up the pieces. For generations. Not them. They will take the cash and fuck off somewhere nice. 'Cheerio suckers'.
Our company also used to provide some IT systems to the Post Office Group so it;s a story I've also kept an eye on. What I found so incredible is just how long this has taken to appear in the mainstream media - Tony Collins in Computer Weekly has been looking in to this for years (plus Private eye etc). It's taken an ITV drama to bring it in to focus..
It has been in the MSM. I’ve not followed it at all but knew all about it.
Ok, but not in any great depth. Computer Weekly first started writing about this 2010 ish, maybe earlier. My point is that it should have been headline news way before now.
"People were treated appallingly. That's wrong, and we will be doing everything we can to put it right."
Why, PM? What's changed? Shortly to be converted to some demonstrable lying, from the PM there.
It certainly says something about society that regular media reporting for a dozen years has done nothing, but a TV drama creates a shit storm in days.
Seems they are going to review the CEOs CBE and maybe remove it.
That'll show her, yes indeed.
It's all they can do. Move along here. Nothing to see.
Perhaps he’d like to look into removing the honours Liz Truss handed out too? And Boris Johnson (to his brother, to his Russian mate and also to his ‘alleged’ daughter)? No, I thought not.
He deeply supports a probe into the matter. (my radiogram has just said)
I'm hardly surprised. He looks the sort. He's a tory. I dare say a substantial amount of the cash that he's extorted from we the people, goes into paying for various types of probes.
