I made the mistake of looking at Twitter over the ice hockey incident.

The victim was a white guy. The perpetrator was a black guy. So apparently, the whole affair is hugely racially-motivated, although Twitter can't agree whether it's an example of racist police bias or the inherent violence of black people. Grim.

I see that the government is committing itself to emergency legislation, to enshrine in law that fiction, is truth.

Personally I think it's brilliant. There you have it, irrefutable proof that your government isn't just making repeated mistakes, it's intentionally trolling you (and worse).

None of them stay in any job long enough to do the damage they could otherwise?

Continuity is provided by the strings, not the puppet. I'm not going to allow it.

They stopped Corbyn? Certainly seemed like a lot of people thought that was a good idea.

Corbyn was there so that they could 'win'. That doesn't count as a tangible good.

They massively increased the personal allowance for tax, and even did it in a way that didn’t also give a free hit to high earners. That was legitimately good and overdue.

Admittedly, it was over ten years ago and Nick Clegg made them do it.

It sure is cool that the UK is too dumb to understand what a coalition is and the reaction to the junior party not overriding the shittery of the major one was to.. er… eviscerate the junior party and just let the major one do whatever the fuck they wanted. I’ll never stop being pissed of at almost everyone for that.

Currently in the process of reversing that by freezing the personal allowance for ages. And highly likely to favour high earners in the pre election bribe.

Another nod for EOTHO here. If anyone wants to put it in their manifesto there's a vote in it for you.
