Until quite recently, the yank right rallied behind ending the right to abortion, and the Brit right rallied behind getting out of the EU. These causes brought in numbers and some semblance of legitimacy amongst the centrist throngs to give the grifters something to distract people from everything else.. but were very distinct. Both of those causes are done with for a generation or two.. at least in terms of election-turning significance. The conservative movement in America has clearly decided that ‘anti-woke’ needs to be its new thing, and while the UK was immune to that movements crusade to end abortion rights and, therefore paying little attention to that vast apparatus, the UK is a little more open to ‘anti-woke’ propaganda… and, oh boy, is there a lot of it.

I don’t think it will be anywhere near as destructive in the UK, but definitely keep an eye on it.
