I don't want to be monetised. I already resent paying two quid for a KitKat.

This is very interesting.

Just when you thought Suella Braverman could not get any worse, she grandstands as a true fascist at a grim think tank affair in DC. She continues to astound and appal. She is odious: she looks and sounds truly awful. She probably smells worse.
For her it’s about acceptance and gaining power. She must be deeply insecure to reject everything she has come from in order to do so. The irony of course is that the votes for which she is fellating would prefer any white candidate over her. She disgusts me more than any politician (or perhaps any public persona) I can think of. It’s deeply depressing that vulnerable people rely on her judgement and character. As someone said on twitter, there are not enough letters in the alphabet for me to describe how repugnant she is much and how much ill I wish on her.
Sunak is different: he is a slimy ethical and moral vacuum who is simply interested in lining his and his wife’s family pockets.
Not sure Sunak needs to worry about lining his and his family's pockets.
I’m sure he doesn’t worry about it, but he does it.
She's incredible. Truly incredible
To manage to achieve being more odious than Priti Patel deserves some serious plaudits.i didn't think it was possible but she's pulled it off.
As you say, fascism. Fascism that continues to impress too many fucking mugs in this country
There's a lot of time, money, and effort, being poured into getting people to buy into it. By whom, I entirely know.
How did ordinary decent people stand by and let what happened in Nazi Germany come to pass? Well now you know. Mystery no more.
Russians and Nazis. Next stop Stalingrad.
Why the fuck is the news covering what that corrupt idiot Lawrence Fox is thinking/saying/doing?
If they want to cover know nothing idiots, there is a wide array of choice. Some of whom have actual interesting ideas.
I think the 'news' element of the coverage is that he said such disrespectful, misogynistic, nasty things about another journalist live on air, because he did not like what she was saying, and did not have the brain cells to just actually debate her point with her. His nasty, vile attitude, and what he thought was acceptable to say, got him suspended, and that is the point of the news coverage.
Given we live in a world where seventeen year old boys, are being arrested for stabbing and killing fifteen year old girls, on the school bus for rejecting his flowers (from what we can tell so far) alongside all the Russel Brand, and Andrew Tate stuff just recently, I can see why, well known men having such a poor attitude, so publicly, is something the news want to report on.
Chicago: Yikes.
"N.H.S." is so weird to look at.NZ sold Thiel citizenship some years back to our ongoing national shame. On the bright side, we are about to elect an bunch of incompetent Christofascist colonials to finally catch us up with the rest of the Western world.
I see that the prime minster has said that he's taking a deeply conservative approach to taxes, on the back of news that we are more highly taxed than ever. He's right, he's smashing ordinary people with them, and taking them off the rich and large businesses (same as with regulation). As he says, deeply conservative. Squeeze the proles, so that the rich can get richer.
There are so many questions that this clip of Penny Mordaunt's conference speech throws up. Chiefly in my mind, aside from 'what the actual fcuk are you taking about?', is 'why have you walked off stage clearly thinking you'd nailed it?'...

You'd hope it went better in rehearsal.
Good lord. Every time I think they’ve surely hit peak mental they find another way to take it up a notch.
