    That's not a court case. It's marketing.

Kind of relevant to the recent AirBnB discussion on these here pages, while I have a (small) degree of sympathy, I can't help thinking that if you're going to go into this sort of thing without doing your own sums and due diligence first, you're probably a fucking idiot.

I got as far as £110k for a caravan. A caravan I repeat.

They generally are a bit dim though and the sales reps will know that. But can’t see anything particularly untoward other than them offering 1k less when they’d cleared the caravan out.

I went to Tattershall Lakes a couple of years ago for a weekend. Jesus fucking Christ, I’m usually good at due diligence before heading off anywhere but failed miserably here. The highlight was being by the entrance/exit so we could get out easily enough without having to see many of the creatures on site.

Good to see that the pre-match remembrance virtue signaling is so impeccably observed.
All those foreigners respecting the memory of those who gave their lives killing their grandparents so that we could be free from a foreign yolk so that we can pay their grandchildren eye watering amounts of money to ruin our national game.

    Makes you proud.

If you don't think too much.

Or everybody is remembering people who died in conflicts everywhere?

    Do you really think that?

FWIW I'm a big fan of remembering the few.

Stephen Yaxley-Mortgage-Fraud sentenced to 18 months in prison for contempt of court.

Well, if he lost his mortgage, at least he's got somewhere to stay now.

Did I read that he managed to raise £100k from supporters for his legal defence to fight the charges?

  • RCpanorama_fish_eye

He did. And then he immediately pleaded guilty.

Nice work, if you can get it. He’ll do 9 months, maybe less with the prisons being chocker. £100k of mug’s money in the skyrocket.

I see that Real Madrid have lost respect for the Ballon d'or. Me too. Although I strongly suspect that our reasoning is somewhat different.

They think that it should be entirely Real Madrid centric. I think that the move towards spanishification has ruined football.
