Oh this was 100% it, and to be honest he seems to have been doing a pretty good job. For example we've done a little better on all the tariff stuff than many others.
I understand the attraction but the risk of a team finishing 8th getting promoted and breaking Derby's record is too big.
I'm guessing non payment of stamp duty will not present Farage with the same issues it did Raynor and he will not need to resign.
That is quite an assumption. Who knows what the owners of the Reform party will decide?
It works quite well in the National League system, but it might be less successful where there is such a stark cliff edge like the PL to Championship.
I notice there is also mention of National League sides wanting 3 up and 3 down to and from League Two. We already effectively have an endless league pyramid and it creates some really dodgy financial behaviour. The door has been opened now and it will be near impossible to close it, but I think there is an argument for a much tougher threshold for entry to the EFL and a return to a more distinct amateur league below, rather than a further exporting of financial mess to those amateur ranks. Like so many things in football it is probably not possible to go back and fix the many mistakes made.
“How dare you even ask that? I am King Cunt of the Cunt People. May tax affairs are none of your fucking business. Releasing my tax returns would be a step too far.”
The total absence of balance, scrutiny, and truth, demonstrates in itself that we are living under the control of a conspiracy of interests completely skewing the outcomes from the interests of the people.
The hope that there's nothing to worry about and everything will be okay is, I fear, misplaced.
Not quite true. There is plenty of scrutiny for certain people.
Wonder what right wing “influencers“ would be saying if Kirk had been killed under Biden or Harris presidency and the killer was free into a third day?
Whatever get them the most likes, view or hits I assume. Same as any other social media rent a gob.
Bloke on news says he's at march in part to stop the boats as we can't take those millions of people.
Biggest year for boat migrants was 50k wasn't it? So to get to millions (plural so more than one) would take 40 or 50 years.
On way to and from game today there were folks on tube with their union flags. Some bald blokes in Stone Island as you'd expect.
But also an oriental couple and an Asian family with kids. Don't they realise the bald bloke majority want them out?
There's plenty of racism among immigrant communities. Remember, for a long time in the US it was the Irish and the Italians who were the unwelcome immigrants that were being discriminated against, and they aren't so physically dissimilar as to be a noticeably visible minority. Plenty of minority communities hold some pretty racist views, be it the black communities against the Chinese, the Chinese against the Indians, or the Indian community against anyone "not entering the country the right way".
And if you give your bloke on the news a little bit of credence, it's entirely consistent to be marching against illegal entry alongside visible minorities who feel the same way, and stopping to enjoy Indian street food from a small businessman whose family emigrated through official channels and is a British citizen. Whether he actually means that is perhaps a different matter, but I think it's important not to point to logical holes that don't on the surface exist as evidence of a failed argument.
Some think that if they side with the bigots, then the bigots will leave them alone. Others are similarly bigoted.
As we've seen in the US, the old "they don't mean me" fallacy is strong.
