I'm with KM. Looks a bit like classic 'protesting too much'. One of the joys about great songwriting, is the universality of lyrics written in one context, to apply to another. Pretty much all the best songwriters keep their mouths shut, and let the listener find their personal connection to a song. The only coherent reason to be so absolutist about a song (I mean a song for fucks sake, great writers make entire fiction novels out of their autobiographies!) is in reaction to some form of difficult personal scrutiny. Otherwise, who gives a fuck (or takes a cock)?
